WFOT Global Strategy for the Occupational Therapy Workforce Webinar Series  

Join WFOT on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 14.00 (BST) for the launch of the Global Strategy for the Occupational Therapy Workforce.
Occupational therapists have a vital role in supporting this global strategy to address the barriers that prevent people, communities and populations from accessing high quality occupational therapy services.

This is a free one-hour webinar that will feature the following schedule:

World Occupational Therapy Day 

World Occupational Therapy Day will be celebrated across the world on 27 October. The 2024 theme of World Occupational Therapy Day, Occupational Therapy for All reflects the important role of the profession to facilitate participation in the activities that people want, need or are expected to do in their daily lives.

The World Occupational Therapy Day theme and logo is available in multiple languages from the WFOT website.

Measles and Rehabilitation 

Vaccine preventable measles cases are on the rise – but did you know rehabilitation can play a vital role in its management? WFOT contributed to the development of a factsheet on this topic with the World Rehabilitation Alliance (WRA). Occupational Narratives Database -
Invitation to Submit before 31 December  2024

 

The Occupational Narratives Database is a collection of digital stories from people of all ages and ability around the world.
 
WFOT plans to suspend new submissions to the Occupational Narratives Database as of January 2025, although videos will continue to be accessible. WFOT invites remaining submissions to the Occupational Narratives Database by December 31, 2024.
